Chiedere permesso ai luoghi

Asking places for permission

The text reflects on the relationship between artistic practice and landscape, both real and imaginary, intertwining personal memory, naturalistic observation, and aesthetic research.

Through the practice of walking, the dynamic observation of landscapes from the micro to the macro scale, and translation of these observations into works where words, textile materials, and site-specific interventions intertwine, this essay investigates the possibility of establishing a dialogue with places, based on respect and listening. For the individual time of human beings to unfold within the broader time of landscapes, we must ask permission.
